Energy Cluster Denmark is Denmark’s cluster organisation for the entire energy sector. The vision of the organisation is for Denmark to be a leading green nation in the development and demonstration of innovative and global energy solutions. Therefore, Energy Cluster Denmark is a neutral, value-creating and member-driven innovation platform for establishing and facilitating innovation collaborations between small and large companies, knowledge institutions and public players throughout the energy sector.

Energy Cluster Denmark’s role in 2LIPP

Energy Cluster Denmark is the coordinator and overall lead of the 2LIPP project. As Denmark’s national cluster organisation for the energy sector, Energy Cluster Denmark brings many years of experience in managing large international innovation projects and demonstration activities. In 2LIPP, the organisation is responsible for steering the project’s strategic direction and ensuring close collaboration between the European partners across industry, utilities and research. Energy Cluster Denmark also supports communication and knowledge sharing so that the results from the Bornholm demonstration can be translated into scalable concepts and business cases for utilities across Europe.
